Latricia Penny is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Charlotte, North Carolina. Latricia takes a holistic approach to therapy looking at the mind, body and spirit.  She has been in private practice for the last 10 years, working primarily with people who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief and/or family challenges. Latricia believes that by working with the whole person, real life changes can occur  and that you have everything you need to be successful already inside of you.  Due to her beliefs in mind, body spirit connection, she is also a Master Reiki Practitioner  which is a Japanese form of energy healing.  It is considered alternative medicine which uses Universal Energy to assist with stress reduction along with physical and emotional healing.  She has authored two books “If You are Crazy, Then What am I?” and an interactive journal for children and non-custodial parents “While I’m Away - Communicating Through Separation and Divorce”.Prior to private practice, Latricia worked in various settings from Kalamzaoo County I-CAN Day Treatment Program, Mecklenburg County Youth and Family Services, Mecklenburg County Jail-Mental Health, Catawba Family Services
